What is Craniosacral therapy?

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a gentle, hands-on practice rooted in osteopathic principles. It works with the rhythms and tissues of the body—especially the nervous system and fascia—to help release deep tension, support regulation, and restore balance from within.

What can I expect during a cranioscral session?

✨ Adult Sessions
Each session begins with a somatic check-in—a guided conversation that helps us explore what’s been happening in your body, health, and life. Many clients describe this as a form of talk therapy that feels more embodied and impactful. That’s because we’re not just talking—we’re listening to what your tissues are holding.
Afterward, we move to the table for gentle hands-on craniosacral and somatic therapy. The work is subtle but powerful, designed to release stored tension, regulate the nervous system, and bring your body back into a state of ease.
Your first session is 90 minutes. Ongoing sessions are available in 60- or 90-minute formats depending on your needs.

👶 Infant & Pediatric Sessions
These sessions are designed to support your child’s developing nervous system, feeding relationship, and overall ease in the body. I work with babies and young children navigating latch issues, birth trauma, tongue/lip ties, and more.
Each 90-minute session includes a full-body craniosacral assessment and hands-on release (if the child is receptive), as well as caregiver education to continue the healing at home.
This work is especially helpful before and after tongue tie revisions—and often includes lactation support, nervous system regulation tools, and gentle guidance for the whole family.

I feel skeptical that Craniosacral therapy actually works...

Totally normal—and actually pretty common. CST is gentle and subtle, which can make people wonder how something so quiet could create real change. But it's rooted in osteopathic medicine and works by helping the body unwind stress patterns held in the nervous system and fascia.

Rather than force a fix, CST creates the conditions for the body to heal itself. It can improve sleep, reduce pain, ease anxiety, help babies latch, support nervous system regulation, and more. The results are often profound, especially for those who feel like they’ve already “tried everything.”

If you’re curious but unsure, that’s okay. Many clients come in skeptical—and leave surprised by how much their body responds. You're welcome to reach out and ask questions before booking.

Do you take insurance?

I do not bill insurance. Craniosacral therapy is not assigned medical billing codes, and most insurance plans do not cover it.

But more importantly, insurance companies often limit what providers can offer. They allow third-party decision-makers—who haven’t met you, aren’t in the room with us, and don’t understand your unique needs—to decide what your care should look like.

By staying outside that system, I’m able to offer the kind of deep, individualized, and integrative care that actually supports lasting healing—not just symptom management.

Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement are available upon request.

Cancellation policy?

I ask for at least 36 hours’ notice for cancellations or reschedules. Late cancellations or no-shows will be charged the full session fee, which can be applied toward a rescheduled session within two weeks.
